In Q4-2016, Magna Academy Poole Sixth Form students elected their new Student Leadership Team.

Harry Legg, who is already our incumbent Head Boy and who ran the entire election process for the three roles, said:

"I am so proud of my new Student Leadership colleagues. They had the strength of character to put themselves forward and went through a rigorous application and interview process with me and the Sixth Form teachers. As if that wasn't enough, they then made personal presentations to their peers before the entire Sixth Form voted.

I believe we have a great group here, who will take on and build further on the good work of their predecessors. We have a common set of goals: to act as genuine role models for our fellow students, to represent them effectively through Student Voice, to represent the Academy in its aims and values - particularly in the local community, and to act as mentors for the Junior Student Leaders who we will, in due course, pass on the baton to.

I would also like to thank Mr Law, our Deputy Director of Sixth Form, for all his energy, support and advice in making these appointments today."
